We have an anchor...

This blog isn't a memoir, a reflection after the trial is over and life has resumed a steadier, calmer pace. Rather it is a field journal of all that has happened and is happening - messy, chaotic, and incomplete. We are still living through some incredibly rough chapters as a family. As circumstances continue to challenge us, I have found it difficult to carve out time to write.

It may take me longer than I'd like to chronicle the events of the past several months.

Meanwhile, this song continues to comfort me throughout these times. This week felt like another "billow" rolling over us, engulfing us in struggle and heartache. At times I have cried out, asking God how much more we can endure. Yet when I reflect on the past 7 months, I see that God has faithfully removed every obstacle in our way. Not always the way we expected or wanted, but always, ALWAYS, what we needed. And I know He is working in our lives, even when it feels like things are falling apart again.
